….the birds were photogenic and very obliging. I know the Red Winged Blackbird, but have no clue as to the other two.

….bright and sparkling……this, I suspect, is what the underpining of the universe looks like (the invisible structure of forces) – an undulating sheet spun and twisted. Well….it’s what I think it SHOULD look like.
