This is the month for bowls….getting back into the shop before and after work….making sawdust.This is the 2nd bowl from an unknown burl. Approx 5.5-inch diameter, 3-inch height.
Black walnut bowl. 6-inch diameter, 3.5-inches tall. Linseed oil & wax finish.
Myrtlewood bowl. About 3.5-inch tall, 5-inch diameter. Linseed oil & wax finish.
I managed to escape to the shop this weekend and began roughing out a Cherry bowl. The wood is from a neighbor’s tree that came down in one of our winter storms.
